Sinach becomes a voting member of the Grammy Recording Academy

Voting for the Grammy Awards is restricted to Recording Academy voting members. Consequently, Grammy winners are determined by their peers, and Sinach has joined this distinguished group of voters.

Responding to the news, the Way Maker singer said, "Thank you, Recording Academy. Honoured to be a part." To become a voting member who decides who wins the Grammy, you must work in the recording industry as a producer, engineer, performer, songwriter, instrumentalist, or another type of music creator.

Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) awarded Sinach the Song of the Year award in 2021, the first African gospel musician to win it. Also, she won the BMI award for "Best Christian Song" for her hit, Way Maker. Several internationally acclaimed Christian artists have covered the famous song, including Bethel Music, Michael W. Smith, Maranda Curtis, and others.
