Following a recent appearance at Kingdom City Church, gospel singer Kim Burrell is facing criticism for referring to church-goers as "ugly and broke" while delivering her sermon.
The short video clip of the sermon appeared on social media and has gone viral (see below), with many sharing their views and leaving comments.
In response to the criticism, Burrell posted an apology on Instagram, which was later deleted. "As a kingdom citizen and a woman of integrity, I acknowledge that some of my words, even if said in jest, can be offensive..."
