GIFTED BRISTOL WORSHIPPER, LOULITA GILL RELEASES "I`LL TRUST" SINGLE
Bristol-based Loulita Gill is pretty much an all-round package: gifted at what she does best which includes singing, songwriting, leadership and designing.
Following the release of her "The Last Twelve Years" gospel album and seven singles which enjoyed a lot of airplay on UCB 1, 2 & Ireland, the Practical Theology graduate returns in 2020 with yet another convincing single titled I'LL TRUST. In her media release, Loulita spoke extensively about the song inspirations: "I found myself in a situation where I was facing a lot of uncertainty. It seemed like there were mountains too high for me to climb and valleys and rivers that were too wide and deep for me to cross over. I felt overwhelmed, and the noise of my doubts and anxieties was trying to cloud the faith in my heart.
"So late one night, I took my little boy's toy, an ukulele, googled some chords and began to write what would be called I'LL TRUST. This song was actually meant to be released last year but I believe it was delayed for a reason. We are facing an immensely difficult time of uncertainty. All my plans for this year have changed and those changes are out of my control. It's in times like these that we can feel almost hopeless and helpless.
"Maybe, you are worried about your future. Perhaps, your doubts are hammering at you like a storm. Maybe, your heart is feeling dark and heavy. All it takes is one whisper from God because he can calm our deepest fears.
"I want to encourage you that God is still there; he is with us in the midst of everything that we are going through, and nothing is a surprise to him. For me, that makes my heart turn to him with a cry that I'll trust him once again because he's been faithful to see me through before.
"I pray that this song will encourage you and lift any heaviness off your heart today. If there's one thing that you need to know is that you can trust in a God who is eternally good and who is working out everything for your good."
I'LL TRUST by Loulita Gill is now available on Youtube and can be streamed on major digital platforms.
