LIVERPOOL-BASED RUTH CLARKE RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE, "TAKE OVER"
Following rave reviews, after leading worship at the Worshippers Heart concert with Todd Dulaney in London and fresh from winning an award at the "Women of Wisdom" ceremony, Ruth Clarke has released her debut single and video, Take Over.
Its been such a journey for Ruth; ten years ago, God spoke about what she would experience in her life. They were times when she thought this dream would not happen or that it would lead to disappointment, but she was reminded of God's faithfulness, The One who keep promises.
Despite all trials, Ruth Clarke worshipped God through the storm. In her heart, God had planted a dream to record worship music. "I was scared to pick up a mic, let alone sing, but God told me that He would use me to lift His name high", shared the Liverpool-based singer in a media release.
Next, she teamed up with InspiredlaneHQ Music Label who were blown away by her heart for worship and the tangible presence of God that followed the 2015 Birmingham musical performance.
Fast forward to 2017, Ruth walked by faith and stepped into the studio for the very first time to record Take Over.
"I decided to go for it and do it only for God's glory and not man's approval. I've been stretched, studios still scare me, but I chose to serve God with every part of me".
Take Over is fast tempo, a high energy track, yet heartwarming with smooth and silky vocals which capture the listener's attention, painting a picture of the realities we face in the world today. The song was written and produced by Brian Zimba under the InspiredLaneHQ Music label.
