ASHA ELIA RETURNS BUZZING WITH NEW "FOLLOW YOU" SINGLE

July 5, 2019

UK RnB/soul has a new face, a fresh sound, and she goes by the name of Asha Elia.

Asha Elia (pronounced Ash-uh Ell-ee-uh) is an East London based rising star focused on bringing a dewy contemporary vibe, shaping the current climate of UK music. Originally from Bristol, Asha is already on course to take her unique soulful sound to music fans across the globe.

Her first two independent releases ’Walk Together’ and ‘Serve’ have garnered over 500,000 streams since their much-anticipated respected releases, with the latter being hailed online as a ‘breath of fresh air’ and a unique spin on the genre by many fans and media publications alike.

With such buzz and excitement surrounding this artist, it should come as no surprise when so many describe her as angelic and progressive; a more befitting description of her personality, and music.

Her sound and content find itself heavily laced with themes of love, purity and holiness, thus setting her apart from the cultural norms being presented by so many of her musical peers.

Her biggest influences range from the mellow tones of James Blake and Amel Larrieux to the vibrant sounds of current artists, as she so eagerly desires to be the future of this sound in the UK.

With her forthcoming EP set for release in the final quarter of 2019, her new single “Follow You” aims to give listeners a glimpse into what they and the industry can expect from Asha as an artist. The song is an upbeat summer groove, which already excites the ears of industry insiders across the board and dropped today.
