Leicester-based IMPRINT SOUND is currently working on their summer album and thought we needed a new song that breaks the mould of music as we know it -- one that clearly articulates the gospel and why Jesus came.
Feeling inspired by a scriptural passage (Ephesians 2:1-5) and the Spring, a season when flowers start to blossom or come "BACK TO LIFE," they saw a great analogy of what God does with us.
"He brings us "BACK TO LIFE" after a lifestyle of sin and death when we say yes to him," they said during a correspondence. "What He did on the cross was to exchange our death for life."
The new song was produced by Imprint Music production director, Július Korbela and was written by Wole Agbaje while recording happened in Leicester with great friends like Essy-Maliya and Hazel Owusu-Yianoma (of the IMPRINT SOUND collective). Press play and listen.
