UK`S MOST POPULAR GOSPEL REGGAE ARTIST, WATCHMAN SURPRISINGLY DROPS "MORE THAN A METAPHOR" AHEAD OF EASTER

March 24, 2019

For MORE THAN A METAPHOR, his latest single which was recorded and mixed in sunny Jamaica, Watchman teamed up with the world renowned British reggae rhythm section and production team (multi-musician and producer-duo) Mafia and Fluxy.

The single scheduled for release on Good Friday (19th April 2019) and now available for pre-order suggests that while there are many religious and historical ways of responding to God, there is only One God. In this inviting tune, Watchman also addresses doubt in regards to the God he serves.

With lines such as:

“God alone mi serve not John McEnroe/I’m serious as can be/
[And] This God I’m talking He’s real just like you and me/Unlike the figurine on granny mantelpiece."

“The bottom line is that all these metaphorical concepts are merely types and shadows. God will respond to you no matter what name you chose to use.”

More than a Metaphor is one of those songs that feed your spirit and lifts your soul, with its relatable lyrics and melodic flow over this dance-floor ready beat, that will no-doubtingly get your hands lifting, foot stomping, body rocking and head nodding.

Watchman is no stranger to ‘Rhythmic Reggae’ and is well known for his reggae repertoire; from albums such as Contemporary Christian; Tongues of Fire, Like Neva B4 and Timeline.

More Than A Metaphor, alongside recent singles "Second to None", "I’m a Blessing from the Father", and most recent “Blood Dem Up” are tasters from Watchman’s forthcoming debut album, “ALL OR NOTHING”, due for release the latter part of 2019.
