Last month, during a UK gospel event, I was so thrilled to sit next to the award-winning producer Florocka before his scheduled stage performance that I couldn`t pass up an opportunity to take his picture. I`m so much in love with the quality of his music production, but what inspired me more was his humility.
For someone who has written, co-written, produced and worked with many phenomenal African gospel artists like Bouqui, 'Mike Aremu, Tosin Martins, Wale Adenuga, Midnight Crew, Helen Yawson, Éloho Efemuai (Aberdeen) and Mike Abdul to mention a few, you can describe him as meek.
Two days ago, he dropped the much anticipated December single, "Love Me First" on Soundcloud as promised and campaigned with this post: "now you can listen to what I’ve been pondering on for a few years," he recommended to dudes. Later, he followed up with a description, "until you have learnt how to love yourself, it becomes difficult to love others. Have you truly learnt to love yourself?"
I have listened to "Love Me First" a couple of times, and it`s not short of quality and excellence. You should make room for this song on your mobile device. It`s that good.
