London-based urban gospel songstress, Esther Farinde has teamed up with Afrobeats producer Victzzle to create her new single ‘Song Cry’ which dropped today on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play and other online outlets.
The compelling gospel artist who also released her Castlefield (Manchester) shot music video delivered an infectious song and performance which highlights her delicate but yet moving vocals layered on an irresistible soundtrack and a year-round feel-good vibe.
Starting her musical journey from the church, Esther Farinde later went on to win the much-televised Time2Shine Singing Competition while exploring the Afrobeat sound under the supervision of Time2Shine management team. That link-up birthed "Song Cry," her first official release under the music label.

"Song Cry is a song about my journey. I looked back at my time in university when I went through depression and feelings of rejection. I was filling the void with drugs, alcohol and going out," said Esther Farinde.
"Looking back at where I have come from and what God has
done in my life, Song Cry is a shout of victory from my heart. I want to do something new. I want people to connect with the song and with me. I want to inspire other people. I want to remove any stigmas and be open about who I am."
