Alive for real 3: J.E.T has dropped "Wake Up and Wash," the 1st of two hard-hitting EP series. This music project focuses on the message of salvation, societal justice and the humanitarian mission with all proceeds going to street children, educational health outreaches, orphans and marginalised groups in Kenya, East Africa.
J.E.T is an outreach and humanitarian music project led by a veteran in the UK Hip-Hop scene since the 90s, Pastor Yinka and Joy House Evangelism Team. The group aims to bring the Gospel to the community while raising funds for humanitarian projects across the globe. Currently, they run education and refuge centres in Kenya with regular workshops and outreaches in the UK, focusing on community empowerment and gang intervention.
With a wide variety of songs, this 8-track project guarantees to uplift and inspire you as well as provoke an uprise against issues of injustice across the globe. It`s a project that features productions by leading UK Gospel producer Ibe GiantKiller, and vocals by various acts from around the world like Prince Ris (Kenya), Niko B (Argentina), Isreal (Nigeria) and C4C (UK).“This presentation has been a heart cry from us, especially within the current climate where there has been injustice and slavery; we felt something had to be said. We feel God is telling us not only to enjoy and dance but also set free the oppressed so they can dance with us. Thus the theme ‘What are you dancing for,” said Rev Yinka (J.E.T)
