Maika Bakani released his new single, "Higher Places" last week and he`d love us to check it out.

During an email chat, he confirmed that "Higher Places" came to him "seemingly out of the blue, and I felt like God met me at every step of the way. Every turn that the song took, He was there.

"It's just a song of thanksgiving and appreciation to Jesus for His undeserved, unconditional love," Maika Bakani shared.
