Whatever makes Elon Musk agitated is worth noting.
Not known for making false claims, the South African-born American "Tesla" billionaire shared a concern about the possibility of an Artificial Intelligence [A.I] god in the foreseeable future.
On Twitter, he posted a comment:
"On the list of people who should absolutely *not* be allowed to develop digital superintelligence...," referring to Anthony Levandowski, a former Uber and Google engineer, who founded a new church called "Way Of Future."
Way Of Future`s mission we discovered, is to "develop and promote the realization of a Godhead based on artificial intelligence and through understanding and worship of the Godhead contribute to the betterment of society.”
According to a report by Wired, "papers filed with the Internal Revenue Service...name Anthony Levandowski as the leader (or “Dean”) of the new religion, as well as CEO of the nonprofit corporation formed to run it."
How the A.I god might reincarnate is yet unknown.
But Levandowski believes "what is going to be created will effectively be a god...It’s not a god in the sense that it makes lightning or causes hurricanes. But if there is something a billion times smarter than the smartest human, what else are you going to call it?"
Way Of Future "Church" hopes to have a gospel [called THE MANUAL], worship programmes with a possible place of worship.
Think about it, how far is too far in Artificial Intelligence?
