Uchenna drops resonant new single - "Carry It all" with R&B favourite Afolake

(Friday 30th September – London, England). Uchenna releases brand new single ‘Carry It All’ featuring Afolake, as first single of the year since the drop of her incredible ep ‘The Art of Submission’. This vibrant new single is built on the revelation that we can’t carry everything on our own; God is inviting us to lay them down at his altar.

From sweet- sounding, effortless vocals to Afro R&B rhythms and biblical standing lyrics, ‘Carry it All’ seeks to take you away – to a place where you don’t have to worry about what feels heavy; but focus on trading in those worries for peace and rest. It’s a refreshing and chilled notice that you don’t have to do life alone, God is able to lift these burdens from us in exchange for peace of mind. She continues to stun fans all over the UK with yet another dynamic R&B sound.

In Uchenna’s words “This song was written for my listeners to vibe to, but at the forefront of creating an enjoyable track, I wanted to let people know, that for a long time I allowed my thoughts, insecurities, and anxieties to overwhelm me because I was carrying them alone. Those insecurities I was holding onto were burdens, until I realised God was reaching out to me, to give them to him so that I could feel lighter. Sometimes having a sound mind looks like letting go of the lies in my mind and what doesn’t align with the word of God over my life”.

With Uchenna’s unique sound, she is joined by the gifted Atlanta based R&B singer Afolake who continues to dominate the R&B and Afro gospel scene. Both vocals together create a positive, uplifting song with affirming lyrics. Afolake added an even more healing sound on the track with her unique tone, and distinctive pen. This song is set to be one of the favourites from both singers this year.

This single, written by Uchenna and Afolake and produced by Andre Fisher is available

for streaming and download on all digital platforms.
