Marvin Sapp will be played by Chaz Lamar Shepherd, while his wife, MaLinda Prince Sapp, will be played by Ambre Anderson. This good news first came to our attention via his Instagram post.
The upcoming biopic recounts his upbringing in Michigan, his battle with alcohol addiction as a teenager, his rise to fame in the gospel music industry and his love for MaLinda Prince, his wife.
TV One will premiere Never Would Have Made It: The Marvin Sapp Story on Sunday, August 21st at 9/8c. So save the date.
