“We were simply jamming in our home studio to an Afropop beat we had purchased from a Nigerian producer. We were immediately drawn to the beat and began writing our verses to it. The song's words were inspired by a biblical chapter in which David danced and thanked God. We wanted to write a song that makes you happy and puts you in a good mood and makes you want to dance. We did all the recordings, mixing, and mastering at our home studio.”
