After the successful release of his original single in 2021, Michael Oyo once again spreads good vibes with his powerful vocals, insightful lyrics and unique beats.
With a well-crafted blend of traditional and jazz, this single ‘Keep You’ is an uplifting single that reminds listeners of God’s promises as well as gets them off their seats in thanksgiving. According to Michael, “God always has us in mind regardless of what life throws at us, God has so much more in store”.
‘O por’, a Yoruba phrase meaning ‘too much’ tells us how unending the possibilities are for those that put their confidence in God. ‘Keep You’ is sure to leave listeners enlivened. Mike Aremu is a talented award-winning artist who has seen a lot of success with his Afro-beat sax driven melodies. Michael Oyo, is a singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist. and founder of ‘The OyoGroup’. Michael’s musical journey began in Hillside, New Jersey where he joined his local choir “Hillside 100 Voices who performed at McDonald’s Gospel Fest 2009, which allowed him to share the stage with Donnie McClurkin, J. Moss, Hezekiah Walker and Patti Label to name a few. Over the past 7 years, Michael has worked and produced records with artists such as CalledOut Music, Charles Dada, Sarah Téibo, Victoria Tunde, Osby Berry and many others.
Apart from the UK and USA, he has toured the world taking his artistry to Malaysia, Italy, Germany, France, South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria.
